The Anasco Matadioses picked up a win at Jardines de Barceloneta, downing the Barceloneta Marineros, 5-2. On the mound for Anasco was right-hander Luis Delgado, who played a pivotal role in the win. Barceloneta has now lost 6 consecutive games.

Anasco used the timely hitting of Abelardo Monroy to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Matadioses on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
