The rain came, as predicted, but the Coamo Termales and Luquillo Soles were able to complete their ballgame.
The Coamo Termales defeated the Luquillo Soles, 4-2. First Baseman Efraín Arias deserved a large share of the credit. Arias went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Termales. The win puts Coamo at 7-2.
In the bottom of the sixth, Marcos Farías delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 3rd, the Coamo left fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Termales in front, 4-2.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Farías told the Coamo Daily News.
