Quesiteros Get One-Run Win at Juana Diaz
The skies opened up and the rain fell at Estadio de Juana Díaz.

The Isabela Quesiteros eked out a 3-2 win versus the Juana Diaz Reyes at Estadio de Juana Díaz. Nobody did more than pitcher Esteban Hernández. He was terrific. Hernández, now 1-2, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 2, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs.

Isabela used a well-timed hit by Abdón Rodríguez to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Quesiteros ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Juana Diaz manager Adrián Burnías.
