Morovis got a terrific performance from pitcher Fintan Williams, but it wasn't enough to beat the Santa Isabel Corceles. Santa Isabel won the Estadio de Morovis contest, 5-3. Williams threw 9.1 innings of 8-hit ball for the losing team. Allen Roy earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. His record is now 1-0. Santa Isabel has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Santa Isabel took advantage of an error in the top of the 11th inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Aldo Carrasco hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Corceles in front, 4-3.

"I believe in our guys," said Santa Isabel skipper Paulino Salmerón. "I like the energy they're playing with."
