The Aibonito Frios converted a terrific effort from starter Curcio Cruz into a win over the Anasco Matadioses at Estadio Herodes García. The Frios won the game by a final score of 8-2. With the victory, the Frios upped their record to 38-38.

Zak Randall was 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Aibonito. The 19-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Eulalio Castillo. It was his 10th walk of the season.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Randall told the Aibonito Herald.
