Mulos Lose as Cuervos Stage Late Rally

The Patillas Cuervos and Aguas Buenas Mulos completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Patillas Cuervos picked up a win at Parque de Aguas Buenas, knocking off the Aguas Buenas Mulos, 8-4. Starting pitcher Pablo García was a big reason why. The Cuervos go to 46-28, putting them first in the Liga Betances Sureste.
The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Santiago Tinajero came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Aguas Buenas pitcher Manuel Cortés, he hit a 1-2 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Patillas on top, 5-4.
"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Tinajero told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
