The 3-RBI night of first baseman Jesús Torres helped the Rio Grande Cotorras triumph, 8-5, over the Moca Rebeldes. Francisco González closed it out for Rio Grande, earning his 1st save. Today's win puts Rio Grande at 43-25, while Moca falls to 29-40.

Rio Grande used the timely hitting of Alarico Sauceda to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cotorras on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Torres.
