Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Ceiba Picudos and Las Marias Citricos.

Isidoro García pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Las Marias Citricos, despite García's fine outing, dropped a 2-1 decision to the Ceiba Picudos at Campo de los Picudos. The third-place Picudos bumped their record to 23-42.

Menendo Tafoya hit a run-scoring triple off Isidoro García in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Picudos in front, 2-1. Tafoya had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

"Scoring was at a premium tonight," Tafoya said.
