Soggy conditions did not keep Comerio and Morovis from playing their scheduled game.

Comerio Guabaleros starter Faro Medina found his groove in his team's 5-4 win over the Morovis Sanisalvos. Medina yielded 4 runs over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 2, and struck out 2. His record improves to 7-8.

Comerio took a 5-4 lead on Semónides Reséndez's 11th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Reséndez hit in the top of the ninth, left Morovis pitcher Radamés Cortez visibly frustrated.

"No one likes losing," said Morovis manager José Villarruel. "We've hit a tough patch, but we're going to get through it."

Comerio bumps their record to 33-29 with the win.
