Riding the 4-hit performance of the 22-year old right fielder Martín Vargas, the Las Piedras Menestrales defeated the Isabela Quesiteros, 6-2. The winner was Simeón Elizondo, who threw 116 pitches over 7.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 8 hits. Las Piedras currently is in third place in the Liga Hostos Este at 31-32.
