Crepusculares Beaten, 4-1, by Barinas

Conditions were not ideal but Barinas and Barquisimeto were able to put their game in the books.
Euan Sharp, who is tied for 5th in the LO in quality starts with 18, never let the Crepusculares get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Viajeros to a win, 4-1. Uriel Gutierres was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 5 save opportunities.
The Viajeros got a big at-bat from shortstop Luis Guzmán. For the game, Guzmán was 1 for 4 with a triple. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave Barinas a 1-0 lead.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Guzmán.
The Viajeros improved their record to 44-48 by beating Barquisimeto.
