Yauco starter Pascual Cruz kept the Hormigueros hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a win, 10-1. With the loss, Hormigueros falls to 4-4.

The Corsos got a lift from right fielder Ernesto Ospina, who in the top of the first stroked a 1-1 cutter to left for a 2-run single. It was his 6th hit of the season and put the Corsos ahead, 3-0.

"We came in and did what we needed to do," said Yauco manager Tito Sandoval.
