Road Win Lifts Utica to 2-1 Lead in IS
The Utica Half Moons moved to within one game of the Pennant Series, downing the Buffalo Hopper Boys on the road at Buffalo Silo by a score of 9-4. Half Moons designated hitter Pedro Valero went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win gives the Half Moons a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Interleague Series.

Jon Wade, the Utica center fielder, contributed a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to make the score 6-1, Half Moons. For the game, Wade went 2 for 5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"Solid performance from our side," said Half Moons manager Martin Bate.

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, November 8th , 1906 at Buffalo Silo in Buffalo.
