Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Dulceros
The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.

With left fielder Bibiano Collazo leading the charge, the Yabucoa Dulceros defeated the Barceloneta Marineros, 7-6, at Estadio de Yabucoa. Collazo, who is the top prospect in the Dulceros organization, went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 3 times. Yabucoa is now 25-31.

In the bottom of the ninth, Vicente Salas had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring walk to center off Barceloneta pitcher José Villa.

Dulceros manager Cástico Beberra wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
