The Jayuya Cerros and Rincon Ingenieros played an exciting game.

The Jayuya Cerros converted a terrific effort from starter Ignacio Lozano into a win over the Rincon Ingenieros at Coliseo Hermógenes Cárdenas. The Cerros won the game by a final score of 4-2. The save went to Hestio de la Riva, his 6th this season.

The Cerros took the lead, 3-0, in the top of the second inning. Facing Rincon hurler Induciomaro Osorio with one out, Quirke Deasy hit a 2-run single.

After the game, Jayuya manager Luis Torres applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

Jayuya goes to 33-20, Rincon to 22-28.
