Esqueletos Take Tight Tangle
Vieques and Toa Alta played a hard-fought contest.

Sílvano Flores was locked in. The right-hander led the Vieques Esqueletos to a 3-2 win against the Toa Alta Poetas at Parque de los Poetas. The Esqueletos now have a record of 30-21.

Vieques used the timely hitting of Adelino Zaragoza to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Esqueletos on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I went out and just tried to do my job," said Flores.
