Victors Again, Anasco Win Streak at 9
The umbrellas came out during the Anasco-Utuado contest at Parque de los Arribeños.

The Utuado Arribenos got a superb performance from pitcher Jay Thomson, but the Anasco Matadioses still won the game, 5-3. Thomson threw 9.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Anasco has now reeled off 9 straight wins.

Alcibíades Muñiz went 1 for 5 for Anasco. In the top of the fourth, with the teams deadlocked, 3-3, Muñiz delivered for the Matadioses. His run-scoring ground out put Anasco on top, 4-3.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Muñiz. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
