Roberto Hernández was terrific for the Manati Acropolitanos in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Naranjito Brillantes. His performance earned Hernández rave reviews. Gerardo Navarro recorded the save, his 4th. Manati is now 24-26, while Naranjito is 28-23.
Jesús Martín hit a run-scoring triple off Odiseo Montoya in the top of the third, which put the Acropolitanos in front, 1-0. Martín had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 4.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Manati manager Jake Seymour.
