Riding the 2-hit performance of the 21-year old first baseman Balbino Rocha, the Coamo Perritos de Pradera stopped the Salinas Olimpicos, 20-2, in 9 innings. The slumping Olimpicos have lost 7 straight.

Carlos Garza was vital to the Coamo win. He was 1-4 with a walk. In the bottom of the first with two out, Garza hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Perritos de Pradera.

"No one likes losing," said Salinas manager Bernal Valencia. "We've hit a tough patch, but we're going to get through it."
