The Naguabo Malditos topped the Loiza Pleneros, 6-5, at Parquecito de Loíza. Naguabo second baseman Adam McKinnon was a spark plug for the offense. He went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Chenda Su came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Loiza pitcher Armando Castillo, he hit a first pitch curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Naguabo on top, 6-5.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," McKinnon said.
