The Morovis Excepciones picked up a win at Parquecito de Morovis, knocking off the Corozal Maduritos, 5-3. Starting pitcher Luis Briones played a key role in the triumph. In 9 innings, Briones surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs.
