The Sabana Grande Tramantes did just enough to sneak past the Yauco Napoleonicos, 4-3, at Parquecito de Sabana Grande. Sabana Grande pitcher Gustavo Támez, in particular, had a standout performance. This win makes it 5 in a row for Sabana Grande.

Sabana Grande got a game-changing hit from Hefesto Feliciano. The designated hitter blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Sabana Grande manager Vidal Guerrero.
