Peña Dazzles in 2-0 San Sebastian Win
|
Vicente Peña, who is tied for 2nd in the LMB in wins with 17, played a key role in a gritty 2-0 San Sebastian Husares win against the Mayaguez Alfereces. The Husares saw their record improve to 53-38.
Peña gave San Sebastian a blue-ribbon performance. The 1.72 m right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings of work.
"Vicente had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said San Sebastian manager Benito Romero.
