In a tight contest at Parquecito de Cabo Rojo, the Yauco Napoleonicos edged the Cabo Rojo Maravillosos by the score of 6-5. Yauco catcher Marco Torres, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The Napoleonicos now have a mark of 37-53.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Jesús Núñez came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Cabo Rojo pitcher Honorio Reyes, he hit a 0-1 changeup for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Yauco on top, 6-5.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Núñez told the Yauco Today.
