Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Ceiba Picudos take on the Canovanas Chupacabras.

Ceiba turned a good effort from starter Enrique Rodríguez into a win over the Canovanas Chupacabras at Campo de los Picudos. The final score was 7-2. The second-place Picudos are 22-26.

One of the key players for the Picudos was third baseman Menendo Tafoya, who drilled a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the first inning. For the game, Tafoya was 2-5 with a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.
