A 3-RBI performance from Bernal Castillo helped the Sabana Grande Tramantes beat the Guayanilla Tormentas, 12-3. Emanuel Ferreyra, who went 7.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 12-9. With the win, Sabana Grande upped its record to 54-41.

Benicio Álvarez had a big 2-run triple for the Tramantes in the bottom of the third inning. With Sabana Grande leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a curveball from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Reece Heath and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Tramantes ahead, 3-0.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Castillo told the Sabana Grande Daily.
