The Lajas Fobianos outlasted the Ponce Hidalgos in an extra-inning thriller.

The Lajas Fobianos grabbed a win, 6-5, over the Ponce Hidalgos in 10 innings at Parquecito de Ponce. Lajas second baseman Saturnín Silvestre was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Lajas is now 47-35. Ponce is 41-39.

Silvestre had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from John Burry, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Fobianos a 6-5 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Silvestre.
