Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Testarudos beat the Predilectos.

The Aguas Buenas Testarudos eked out a 3-2 win versus the Naranjito Predilectos at Parquecito de Aguas Buenas. Nobody did more than pitcher Vicente Melchor. He was terrific. In 9 innings, Melchor surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs.

Aguas Buenas took a 3-2 lead on Evaristo Saldaña's 11th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Saldaña hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Naranjito pitcher Raimundo González visibly frustrated.

"Nice win for us," said Saldaña. "Now we'll go after the next one."

The 12th-place Testarudos own a record of 27-52.
