The San German Golondrinas beat the Villalba Mercaderes, 6-5, at Parque de las Golondrinas. The win was due in part to first baseman José Cabrera, who was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk. Efraín Ayala, who is rated as the 26th best prospect by BNN, was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-4. The losing pitcher was Efraín Barreiro. The victory makes San German 15-33.
When he came to bat in the bottom of the ninth, Luke Miller had a chance to end it. Villalba pitcher José Luna had other ideas. But with one out, Miller hit a run-scoring single. The Golondrinas had the win.
