The Carolina Belicosos had to overcome a good performance from Naguabo pitcher Pedro Medina to claim a 3-2 win at Parquecito de Carolina. Medina went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Naguabo is in the throes of a losing streak which has reached 9 games.

Batting in the bottom of the ninth, 19-year old first baseman Joaquín Torres had a real shot to win the game. Naguabo pitcher Liam Baxter was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Torres hit a run-scoring single. The Belicosos had a walk-off triumph.

"We're not winning games right now," said Naguabo manager Marcial Pachicano. "But I'm not going to denigrate the effort by the guys."
