Corozal Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Despite the rain, the fans at Parquecito de Corozal enjoyed a good ballgame.

Corozal turned a good effort from starter Humberto Díaz into a win over the Jayuya Picachos at Parquecito de Corozal. The Maduritos won the game, 3-2. The Maduritos go to 44-29, putting them second in the Liga José Padilla División Eugenio Ortiz.

Corozal got a game-changing hit from Orlando Escobar. The left fielder blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Díaz. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
