Led by 21-year-old Ricardo Palacio, the Cabo Rojo Maravillosos knocked off the Yauco Napoleonicos, 6-2. Palacio hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times for the Maravillosos. René Gildo picked up the win, improving his season record to 8-9. He struck out 6 in 9 innings. With the win, Cabo Rojo goes to 32-33, while the Napoleonicos fall to 23-42.

Early in the game, Palacio had a 3-run home run for Cabo Rojo. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Maravillosos on top, 3-0.
