Salgado Tosses Shutout Against Comecocos
Ricardo Salgado was in a mood to talk following the Ceiba Comesopas contest against the Luquillo Comecocos, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Comecocos, 1-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Salgado said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked Luquillo on a 3-hitter, allowing 3 walks and racking up 7 strikeouts.
