San Marcos Wins Pennant Championship Series
In an exciting Pennant Championship Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is League of the Free Frontier fans who have come out the winner.

But on the field, the winners were the San Marcos Cadavers, who edged the Nacogdoches Roaches 4-3 to advance to the Championship of the Frontier.

San Marcos won the final game by a 6-1 count to wrap up the series. Apolonio García earned series MVP honors, by hitting .300 with a .323 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The San Marcos Cadavers will play against the Taos Artists in the next round. Taos won their series against the Lubbock Layabouts 4 games to 1. The Championship of the Frontier schedule will be announced after the Pennant Championship Series finishes.
