Aberystwyth got a terrific game from second baseman Charles Roach. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Wrexham, 6-5. Roach belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Danilo Portillo got the win, improving to 10-19. He worked 7 innings, giving up 5 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. With the win, the Druids have a record of 69-59.

Teodosio Camarillo went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks for Wrexham. With two out and the game tied in the top of the eighth inning, Camarillo had a clutch at-bat. Facing Aberystwyth hurler Ron Hann, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Druids a 6-5 lead.
