Edinburgh turned a fine outing from starter Avelino Oliva into a victory over the Inverness Thistles at Inverness Fields. The final score was 7-2. With the win, the Claymores sit at 68-58.

In the top of the third, with Edinburgh leading 3-1, David Craig hit a fastball from Patrick Grimley for a run-scoring single, giving the Claymores the lead, 4-1.

"We looked pretty good up and down," said Edinburgh manager Gael Whalley.
