Cuervos Earn Win with Late Rally
The Patillas Cuervos earned a close win over the Vega Alta Martilleros, thanks in part to Armando Rodríguez. The Patillas right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the LB in innings pitched with 119.0, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Patillas has now won 3 in a row.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 2-2, top prospect Buenaventura Urrutia won it for Patillas. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Urrutia hit a first pitch fastball from Ramón Palomares for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 3-2 win.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Urrutia. "But I like how we're playing right now."
