Irondequoit Beats Syracuse as Domínguez Throws 5-0 Shutout
|
Gerardo Domínguez scattered 7 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the Irondequoit Peach Kings 5-0 victory over the Syracuse Halites at Salt City Park. The 30-year-old Domínguez whiffed 5 and issued 2 walks.
"Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Domínguez said. "I made a couple mistakes but thankfully they didn't get all of them and the guys behind me cleaned things up."
