Saginaw Blanks Stoplights, Meinke at His Best
|
Frank Meinke of the Saginaw Joes overwhelmed the Bad Axe Stoplights and walked off the mound with a complete-game shutout. He blanked them, 3-0, on 3 hits with a total of 4 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"Frank was on quite a roll," Saginaw manager Craig Widner said. "He gets great late movement and he doesn't give in to the hitters."
