Engines, O'Toole Blank Citadels
|
In a very sharp performance at Evanston Fields, Joe O'Toole of the Oshawa Engines blanked the Kingston Citadels, 1-0. He permitted 5 hits and finished with 2 strikeouts and 1 walk in the Engines victory.
"Joe goes out there and just goes about his business," Engines manager Federico Gabaldón said in his postgame press conference. "I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on. No matter the pitch, you know he's going to be where he needs to be."
To date this year, in 26 starts, O'Toole has crafted a 11-13 mark with a 1.84 ERA.
