Las Marias and Lares took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Las Marias Citricos racked up a win at El Naranjal, bumping off the Lares Fieles, 5-2. Diego Torres, who started for Las Marias, pitched effectively for his team. The Citricos improved their record to 20-24 with the win over Lares.

Torres gave Las Marias a solid start. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits over 9 innings.

"Diego was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Las Marias manager Cenón Yepes.
