Maples Drop Commodores, 4-1
Norwalk turned a good effort from starter J.P. Haines into a win over the Erie Commodores at Syrup Park. The Maples won the game, 4-1. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Telesforo Mata. The second-place Maples lifted their record to 50-48.

The Maples picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Norwalk manager Dagoberto Jaso.
