Joes Snatch Late Win
The Saginaw Joes gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Saginaw Joes defeated the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers, 6-5, in 12 innings. Pelayo Rodríguez, who is tied for 6th in the WGLA with a .294 batting average, played a big role. Rodríguez went 4-6 with a triple and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Joes in the win. Duarte Sánchez picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Juan Oquendo suffered the loss.

With the game tied in the bottom of the 12th, Rodríguez delivered for Saginaw. That's when he hit a run-scoring single off Juan Oquendo to win the game.

"Sweet win for us, tough loss for them," said Rodríguez.

The Joes saw their win-loss record go to 52-32. At the same time, the Stone Skippers fell to 32-53.
