The Fajardo Camorristas had their hands full with Naguabo Malditos starter Redmond Brier, who frustrated Fajardo hitters while leading Naguabo to a comfortable, 8-1 win. The win puts the Malditos at 25-29, while the Camorristas drop to 28-26.

Helping the Naguabo cause was Chenda Su. In the top of the second, the 17-year old shortstop had a run-scoring walk to make the score 2-0, Malditos.

"You want to go out there and put up zeroes, that's the main thing," said Brier. "You don't want to get caught in one of those back-and-forth, run-for-run games."
