Torres Shuts Out Canovanas
|
Gurabo Escaleras hurler Sebastián Torres was at his best as he beat the Canovanas Criptidos, 1-0.
"He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Canovanas manager Matías Rubio. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit."
Torres, who is rated as the 42nd best prospect by BNN, fired a 3-hitter and totaled 6 strikeouts and 5 walks in the shutout performance.
