Madonnas Use Late Rally to Win
Vampires Field was the site for Southern New England Association action featuring the Griswold Vampires and Cranston Madonnas.

The Cranston Madonnas locked up a win at Vampires Field, knocking off the Griswold Vampires, 4-1. On the mound for Cranston was right-hander Donato Rodríguez. He played a major role in the triumph. The loss makes Griswold 62-54.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the ninth, Ewan Howard got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run. The Madonnas took the lead, 2-1.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Rodríguez.
