Submersibles Raise Rally Flag, Beat Griswold, 4-2
|
Conditions were not ideal but Falmouth and Griswold were able to put their game in the books.
Behind an impressive start by Jack Griffin, Falmouth beat Griswold, 4-2. The third-place Submersibles lifted their record to 47-54.
Andrew Foster hit a run-scoring double off Edward Havel in the top of the eighth, which put the Submersibles in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Foster had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.
"Enjoyed this one," Foster told the Falmouth Herald. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
