The Mystic Drawbridges manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Templeton Red Onions. The Drawbridges were overpowered by Templeton starter Ramiro López, who hurled his club to victory, 2-0.

"It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Víctor de Luna said.

Over 9 innings, López blanked Mystic on 4 hits with 4 walks and 8 strikeouts.

"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," López said.

"I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."

In 14 starts this season, López has notched a 9-5 record and a 2.17 ERA.
