Munguía Excels in 9-4 Derry Win
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Derry Spuds and Manchester Gamblers came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Derry center fielder Belerofón Munguía made his presence felt in the 9-4 Spuds triumph over the Manchester Gamblers. Munguía was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The Spuds have now won 4 straight.

With Derry leading 4-2 in the top of the sixth, Munguía hit a sinker from Danny McClellan for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Spuds ahead, 7-2.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Munguía.
