Soto Magnificent in 4-0 Newport Triumph
In an impressive outing, Jacinto Soto blanked the Winchendon Rocking Horses 4-0.

"I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Soto, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion.

"It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took."

The Newport hurler held Winchendon scoreless, allowed 4 hits, chalked up 6 strikeouts and yielded no walks.

This year, Soto has compiled a 4-4 record with a 2.06 ERA.
